Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services sector.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building activities.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close deals to meet revenue objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients, offering insights and solutions to meet their financial goals.
Product and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and financial products/services.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company’s financial offerings and how they meet the needs of clients.
- Educate clients on the features and benefits of financial products and services.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services and products.
- Work closely with internal teams to communicate client needs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting the financial services industry.
Leadership and Mentoring:
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales team members.
- Share industry knowledge and best practices to contribute to the professional development of the team.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay informed about advancements in financial technology and industry best practices.
- Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualification
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 4 – 5 years work experience.
- Meets or exceeds established annual sales production goals via generation of new accounts.
- Partners with Customer Service Representatives to renew existing business to meet or exceed established retention goals. (Retention)
- Maintains a current level of functional working knowledge on processes and coverage changes.
- Keeps abreast of selling trends and techniques and use agency selling aids to help maintain a competitive status for the agency within the industry. (Self Development)
- Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
- All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily.
- Participates in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development and meets continuing education requirements.
