Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has submitted the 2024 Appropriation Bill to the state House of Assembly.
The governor made the presentation on Wednesday during a plenary session attended by five members of his house.
The news comes only seconds after the state administration began demolishing the House of Assembly structure.
Recall that 27 House members loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike, defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to join the All Progressives Congress, APC.
On Wednesday, the 27 lawmakers were absent when the governor presented the budget.
