In a recent development, social media influencer Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has lost her case against the late Bimbo Ogbonna’s sister.
The Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, dismissed the Fundamental Rights Suit initiated by Okoro, who claimed that her arrest constituted a violation of her fundamental human rights.
Okoro asserted that her arrest was unlawful and requested a restraining order against the police to protect her freedom. However, the presiding judge ruled that she failed to provide sufficient evidence against Bimbo Ogbonna’s sister. Furthermore, the judge criticized Okoro for using her Instagram handle to tarnish the reputation of the late Bimbo Ogbonna and her family, exposing them to hatred, contempt, and ridicule.
