Gospel minister Dunsin Oyekan is preparing to embark on a new chapter in his life as he plans to remarry, five years after the tragic loss of his wife.
According to reports, Dunsin got engaged to a woman who prefers to stay out of the limelight last year, and they are expected to tie the knot before the end of 2024.
The news was confirmed by broadcast journalist Lara Wise, who affirmed that Dunsin has introduced his fiancée to some of his spiritual mentors. This development comes amid speculations about a possible relationship between Dunsin and fellow gospel minister Victoria Orenze, which Lara Wise debunked, clarifying that Dunsin’s engagement is with a different woman.
As preparations for the wedding progress, Dunsin Oyekan will be joining the ranks of gospel singers like Moses Bliss and Theophilus Sunday, who also got married in 2024.
Dunsin Oyekan suffered a devastating loss in 2019 when his wife, Doyin, passed away under undisclosed circumstances, leaving behind two children. In 2021, during a worship session, Dunsin shared a poignant testimony, revealing how he found solace in God’s presence amidst his grief. He sang a song titled “I’ll be here,” reflecting on his journey of faith and resilience in the face of tragedy.
