Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has lent her voice in support of filmmaker Sam Olatunji’s recent criticism of Angela Okorie’s contentious remarks regarding Mercy Johnson.
Angela Okorie sparked controversy by alleging that Mercy Johnson’s mother was a witch, claiming she had a habit of manipulating people’s destinies. Reacting to this, Sam Olatunji questioned the basis of Okorie’s claims and expressed concern for her mental well-being, suggesting she might be experiencing a breakdown.
Yvonne Jegede echoed Olatunji’s sentiments, highlighting Okorie’s apparent lack of self-awareness. Commenting on the situation, she remarked, “They don’t see anything wrong with themselves.”
In agreement, Sam Olatunji characterized Okorie and others involved in similar controversies as the “Nollywood police,” implying a tendency to pass judgment on others without introspection.
The ongoing feud is not isolated, as Angela Okorie has previously engaged in public disputes with fellow colleagues in the industry.
