Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has been left heartbroken after losing one of her children to cholera.
Taking to her Instagram page, the movie star and producer revealed that she has been single-handedly financing three children through school. Tragically, one of them, Olamide, passed away from cholera. Yvonne met Olamide when he was in Primary 4, and he was supposed to go to JS3 after this summer break before his untimely death.
Despite her grief, Yvonne shared that the two other children graduated from secondary school yesterday, with one of them being Olamide’s sister. She expressed how much this completion means to her, stating,
I don’t have all the money in the world, but this makes my world complete.”
Since 2019, she has managed to provide for these children, crediting God for giving her the strength and resources to support them.
I’m heartbroken because I lost one of my children to cholera. Olamide and I met when he was in Primary 4 and was supposed to go to JS3 after this summer break. The news broke my heart. I am also happy that two of my children graduated yesterday from secondary school, and one of them is Olamide’s sister. I don’t have all the money in the world, but this makes my world complete. Since 2019 till date, I don’t know how I do it, but my God provides enough to carry them through.
Rest In Power Olamide Ajimuda.
