FC Cincinnati has signed Chidozie Awaziem from Boavista.
Awaziem joins on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee through the rest of 2024 and 2025, with options for 2026 and 2027 sessions.

The Nigerian defender, Awaziem will become eligible if he receives his P-1 visa.
“We’re delighted to have Chidozie Awaziem join the club,” Cincinnati general manager Chris Albright said.
“He’s a talented defender with extensive experience at the European and international level.
“His quality, character and leadership will be a valuable addition to our group, and I’d like to welcome him to Cincinnati.”
