Former Manchester United player, Paul Scholes has chosen the team that will challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title this season.
The former England midfielder believes Liverpool might be the team to go all out against Pep Guardiola’s untouchables.
Scholes said this after Liverpool defeated his former team, Manchester United, 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Luis Diaz scored twice in the first, with Mohamed Salah supplying both assists.
While Salah himself scored after the half-time interval.
Paul Scholes stated on Premier League Production, via Sportskeeda.com, he said:
“There’s a real dominance by the Liverpool squad.
“They could really challenge for that (Premier League) title this year, even (after) three games in.
“Before a ball was kicked, I thought Arsenal might be there to give City a real go, possibly go on to win it.
“After watching the first three games, I think Liverpool could go past Arsenal.
“I think that’s a team that can challenge City, without a shadow of a doubt,” Scholes added.
