Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has shared disturbing messages her husband, Bobby Maris, has been receiving from online trolls. The threats emerged days after Uche publicly clashed with fans of May Edochie, estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Uche posted a screenshot of a direct message where a troll prayed for her husband to die in an accident. Outraged, Uche questioned if things had truly escalated to the point of her family receiving death threats, emphasizing that her faith in God is stronger than any malicious plans against her. “Leave my family and children out of your evil mouths,” she wrote, cursing those sending threats.
The actress also addressed the situation involving May Edochie’s fans. She disclosed how, after the robbery attack on her son, May’s supporters mocked her, calling it karma for backing Judy Austin. Uche explained she had to block May because her fans harassed her whenever she engaged with May’s posts, and she suspected May found the situation amusing.
Uche further criticized the fans, likening them to a “coven of witchcraft” and claiming they had morphed from a fan base into a cult-like group damaging May’s reputation. Despite trying to stay neutral, Uche said that whether one supports May, Yul, or Judy, they still face backlash from aggressive followers.
In her posts, Uche insisted she had never intentionally wronged May and expressed frustration at the constant insults and false accusations. She prayed for divine justice against those defaming her and vowed to remain strong in her faith.
