Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has shared a heartfelt video of her husband, Ned Nwoko, expressing admiration for her in a conversation behind her back.
Posting on Instagram, Regina shared the moment captured during a dinner gathering with her mother, Rita Daniels, and other guests. In the video, Ned Nwoko fondly praised Regina, calling her a rare gem. He highlighted her purity before marriage, mentioning how she had many suitors, including pastors and film producers, but she stayed true to her values.
She is such a gem,” Ned Nwoko said. “Regina had many suitors—Reverend Pastors, film producers, and others—who showered her with gifts. Yet, she didn’t accept any of them or compromise her values. By the time we got married, she was still a virgin.”
He also commended Rita Daniels for raising Regina so well.
Gushing over the clip, Regina expressed her delight at hearing her husband speak so lovingly about her.
Hubby just sent me this really cute video his friend made, and I couldn’t help but share. Isn’t this unplanned conversation about me with his friends and colleagues so adorable? I love hearing hubby speak about me with so much love, especially in my absence,” she wrote.
In the past, Regina shared that her family initially opposed her marriage to Ned. She dismissed claims that she was pressured into the union, revealing that she had over 20 boyfriends before meeting him. Despite having multiple admirers, Regina said she had promised to remain a virgin until marriage. Calling this a “big flex,” she explained that she hopes to inspire young girls to maintain their values, no matter the pressures.
Earlier in October, Regina had addressed critics who wished for her to leave her older husband. She shared a screenshot of Ned’s concern when she mentioned going out with friends, stating that she is committed to her marriage.
Regina and Ned Nwoko made headlines when they married in April 2019, with a notable 38-year age gap. In May, they celebrated their fifth anniversary, showcasing a beautiful photoshoot. Regina reflected on the love and growth they have shared, while Ned described their journey as eventful and fulfilling, promising that the best is yet to come.
