Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, has urged for a halt to parliamentary action on the proposed tax reform proposals.
Pantami also proposed broader discussions on the bill, engaging all stakeholders.
The ex-Minister revealed this on Tuesday in a post on his X account, amid controversy over the tax reform proposals.
According to Pantami:
“The bill has the potential to transform tax collection administration if improved and implemented in the national interest.”
