Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, has publicly called out his late wife Bimbo’s sister, Mama Jazz, for allegedly subjecting him to years of harassment, emotional blackmail, and denying him access to his children.
In a passionate Instagram post, IVD revealed that for three years, he has been bullied, harassed, and intimidated by his late wife’s sister, Mama Jazz. He claimed that despite his silence and attempts to remain peaceful, Mama Jazz has dragged him through numerous legal battles, including court cases, police stations, and even prison. According to IVD, all of these actions have been based on fabricated lies and false accusations, with no evidence linking him to any wrongdoing.
IVD also voiced his sorrow over being denied access to his children for three years, explaining that he has played the role of the “weak cool” individual, just to have a chance to see his kids. He expressed his pain over not being able to mourn his late wife properly, as he does not even know where she was buried. He urged Mama Jazz to tell the world what he had done wrong, questioning the motives behind her actions.
Please allow me to move on and pick up the pieces of my life; give me a little chance and space to at least mourn the mother of my children. Enough is enough,” he pleaded in his post.
IVD’s life has been marred by public controversies, particularly following the death of his wife, Bimbo, in October 2022. Bimbo’s death was surrounded by allegations of domestic violence, with some accusing IVD of being responsible for her tragic passing. Mama Jazz, in particular, publicly blamed IVD for Bimbo’s death.
In the aftermath of these accusations, IVD has faced further allegations of being involved in multiple scandals, including claims of being a fetish, having several side relationships, and even involvement in a shooting incident at a popular club. Despite all these allegations, IVD continues to maintain his innocence and has called for justice for his late wife.
In another recent post, IVD revealed that he has been ostracized from his children, particularly his daughters. He expressed his deep sadness at being unable to see them and voiced his emotional turmoil. In a heartbreaking statement, IVD even threatened to take his own life if he continued to be denied access to his children. He described the loss of both his wife and kids as deeply traumatic and felt that his world had come crumbling down.
“I am tired, exhausted, and weak,” he wrote, adding that the only thing left for him is God, pleading for some space to heal and rebuild his life.
IVD’s emotional outpouring on social media highlights the complexity and pain of his situation, as he continues to battle legal, personal, and family challenges. While he calls for justice for his wife, he also pleads for the opportunity to rebuild his relationship with his children and find peace after years of turmoil.
