Nollywood actress and senator’s wife, Regina Daniels, recently extended a goodwill message to the people of Ghana following the inauguration of President John Dramani Mahama.
Taking to Instagram, Regina shared photos of the event, including one where she posed with the President alongside her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. She expressed her admiration for Ghana’s democratic progress, writing,
A proud moment for Ghana and a reminder of the strength of democracy in Africa. Wishing him and the people of Ghana success in this new chapter.”
While her message garnered praise from some fans, others criticized her outfit, which they deemed inappropriate for the occasion. The dress, which exposed her cleavage, led to comments urging her to adopt more suitable attire for formal events.
One user wrote, “Wear the appropriate clothes next time. We have wears for different functions; you can’t expose your breast in front of our president.”
Another commented, “You should consider hiring a stylist. There is a dress for every occasion.”
This isn’t the first time Regina has faced scrutiny over her fashion choices. In December, she was criticized for wearing bomb shorts and a revealing top during an outing, with critics highlighting her status as the wife of a senator.
Despite the controversies, Regina continues to make significant strides in her career and personal life. In 2023, she was appointed Social Secretary of the 10th Assembly Senators’ Wives Forum Executive Council, a proud moment celebrated by her mother, Rita Daniels.
Additionally, the actress achieved an academic milestone by earning a degree in Psychology from a university in Mexico, a testament to her hard work and determination.
