Nollywood actress and award-winning filmmaker Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi has joyfully celebrated her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, on his birthday.
The actor, who turned a year older today, shared dapper photos on social media, accompanied by a message of gratitude. He wrote:
It is time to celebrate (+1). Super grateful to God.”
Toyin took to Instagram to share a heartfelt video in honor of her husband, whom she affectionately calls oko mi (my husband). Expressing her deep love and admiration, she wished him a happy birthday and identified him as her head and father figure.
She wrote:
“Happy birthday Oko mi @kolawoleajeyemi olowo ori mi, baba mi.”
Toyin has previously opened up about the strength of her marriage and her commitment to her husband. In an interview with Media Room Hub, the actress revealed that her greatest fear is losing her home and marriage. She vowed never to leave her husband, emphasizing their deep bond and mutual devotion.
Toyin expressed,
“I can’t imagine myself and my husband not living together. Our marriage is ordained by God, so there’s no need to fear.”
Earlier this year, Toyin shared a deeply personal experience about losing a pregnancy. Addressing rumors, the actress confirmed that she had been pregnant but tragically lost the baby.
She admitted to crying over the loss, as she had hoped to have one or two more children and be done. Toyin also faced body shaming after becoming bloated due to the experience, but she has remained resilient in the face of challenges.
