Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon has shared a touching message to celebrate his colleague and best friend, Kunle Remi, and his wife, Tiwi, on their first wedding anniversary.
Taking to Instagram, Deyemi congratulated the couple, wishing them many more years of marital bliss.
He posted a clip of the couple and wrote,
Congratulations, Tiwi and @kunleremiofficial. Wishing you many, many years of marital bliss!”
Kunle, in celebration of the milestone, shared highlights from their wedding day and penned a romantic message to his wife. He also thanked his fans, friends, and family for sharing in their special moments. Kunle expressed his excitement for the years ahead, playfully stating that they have “109 more years and more celebrations to come.”
Kunle and Tiwi tied the knot last year, with the actor making waves on New Year’s Day when he revealed that he had secretly married Tiwi. He explained that although he went down on one knee to propose, there was no video recording of the spontaneous moment. Two weeks after the announcement, the couple held their traditional wedding in Lagos, which saw the presence of many Nollywood celebrities, including Toyin Abraham, Mofe Duncan, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Bimbo Ademoye, all donning white Agbadas.
The celebrations continued with a white wedding the following day, which had prominent guests in attendance, including billionaire Femi Otedola and his family, as Tiwi is his niece.
Kunle later shared the secret to his glowing skin, humorously attributing it to his wife’s breast, while advising his followers to read the book of Proverbs for wisdom.
In response to a fan’s comment requesting him to keep his marriage off social media, Kunle responded that no bitterness can spoil their joy, love, and laughter, as long as it doesn’t reach God.
