Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has stepped into the ongoing conflict between actors Ijoba Lande and Baba Tee, appealing for peace and reconciliation. The fallout, which stems from allegations of infidelity, has dominated social media discussions in recent weeks.
Last month, Ijoba Lande accused Baba Tee of causing the breakdown of his marriage. He revealed that his wife left in January 2025, leaving him to raise their child alone. According to Lande, he has not been intimate with his wife for over eight months, a situation that has deeply affected him.
Initially, Baba Tee denied the allegations and threatened legal action. However, he later admitted to having an affair with Lande’s wife, claiming the incident occurred under unexpected and intoxicated circumstances. Baba Tee apologized publicly, emphasizing that he was unaware of the woman’s marital status at the time.
In his apology, Baba Tee wrote:
“MAY WE NEVER BE A VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCES. IRE OOO.”
Weighing in on the matter, Bimpe Akintunde took to Instagram to advocate for forgiveness. She described Ijoba Lande as a good man deserving of happiness and urged him to accept Baba Tee’s apology.
She wrote:
“You are a good man and truly deserve the best. Trust God and keep hope alive; surely, good things are coming your way. Please accept Baba Tee’s deepest apology.”
Baba Tee has faced challenges in his marital life, having been married three times. His first marriage to Yetunde Bustline Oduwole ended in 2013, less than two years after their union, amid allegations of infidelity. His second marriage to Dupe Odulate also ended in separation, announced by Odulate in 2019.
Despite these setbacks, Baba Tee married a third wife in 2020 and welcomed his first child with her. The actor has spoken publicly about the difficulties he faced in his past marriages, including alleged ridicule over his physical attributes and conflicts with his ex-wives.
