Former Lagos State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has officially rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Jandor announced his return alongside members of his Lagos4Lagos Movement during a press conference in Ikeja, Lagos. He stated that his decision was driven by a commitment to Lagos’ progress and the belief that unity among progressives is crucial to achieving the collective aspirations of the people.

Reflecting on his time in the PDP, Jandor explained that his gubernatorial bid in the 2023 election was motivated by a genuine desire to serve Lagosians. However, he believes the APC provides a more viable platform to fulfil his vision for good governance in the state.

He expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the President’s son, Seyi Tinubu, for facilitating his return to the ruling party.

Assuring his supporters that the decision was made in Lagos’ best interest, Jandor urged them to embrace this new chapter and join him in working towards a better Lagos for all.
