Renowned Yoruba Nollywood actress Debanke Adeyeye Awa has shared her excitement with fans as she officially becomes a mother. The actress welcomed her baby on January 29, 2025, and took to Instagram to announce the heartwarming news.
Sharing photos from her hospital bed, Debanke expressed gratitude for the safe delivery of her child. She wrote:
“My sunshine arrived safely into this world on 1/29/2025. Second slide: Is that moment you realize that every contraction was a gift. I’m officially a MOM!”
In February last year, Debanke revealed her pregnancy while celebrating her birthday. Sharing a photo of herself cradling her baby bump, she described her unborn child as the best birthday gift she could have ever received.
