The Anambra State Government has issued a public advisory regarding anticipated traffic disruptions in Awka as preparations are underway to welcome President Bola Tinubu.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo is set to receive the President, who is expected to visit the state capital for an official engagement.
In a statement released on Saturday, the state government urged residents and motorists to plan their movements accordingly, as certain roads may experience temporary closures or diversions to facilitate the President’s visit.
Anambra State government emphasised its commitment to minimising inconvenience and ensuring the safety of all road users during this period.
While specific details of the President’s itinerary were not disclosed, the government assured that all necessary measures are being taken to manage traffic flow and maintain order.
Security agencies and traffic management personnel will be deployed to strategic locations to assist with directing vehicles and providing information to commuters.
Residents are encouraged to stay informed through official channels and cooperate with authorities to ensure a smooth and successful visit.
