An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Blessing Agbomhere, has urged President Bola Tinubu and security agencies to target those funding insecurity in Nigeria.
He stated that without identifying and prosecuting those financing terrorism, banditry, and other violent crimes, the country’s security challenges will persist.
Agbomhere emphasised that security forces must go beyond chasing criminals in the bush and focus on those providing money, weapons, and planning support behind the scenes.

He accused political saboteurs of fueling the crisis in the North, especially in Zamfara State, and called their actions deliberate attempts to destabilise the country.
Agbomhere appealed to the federal government to treat insecurity as a national emergency, with the same urgency applied to health crises like Ebola and COVID-19.
