The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has established a Candidate Counselling Emergency Support Centre (CCESC) to help candidates facing urgent issues during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
This new service aims to provide immediate assistance to candidates experiencing challenges such as exam schedule clashes, technical difficulties, or other critical concerns.
The emergency support centre is an additional channel alongside JAMB’s existing ticketing platform, which remains the primary and most efficient method for addressing candidate inquiries.
Candidates can reach the emergency support team by calling a dedicated hotline, where trained officials are available to provide help.
JAMB has emphasised that while the emergency support centre is available for urgent matters, candidates should continue to use the ticketing system for non-urgent issues, as it offers faster and more organised responses.
In response to numerous complaints about technical problems and discrepancies in exam results, JAMB has also initiated a comprehensive review of the 2025 UTME process.
Candidates are encouraged to use the appropriate communication channels for their concerns to ensure timely and effective resolution.
JAMB remains committed to delivering a smooth examination experience and is actively working to address challenges faced by candidates to safeguard the integrity and fairness of the UTME.
