Nigerian winger Moses Simon is reportedly on the verge of completing a transfer to French Ligue 2 side Paris FC, with the deal expected to be finalised in the coming days.

The 29-year-old, who currently plays for Nantes in Ligue 1, is set to sign a three-year contract with the Paris-based club as he seeks a new challenge in his career.

Simon, known for his pace, dribbling ability, and versatility in attack, has been a key player for Nantes since joining in 2020. However, with his contract situation and reduced playing time last season, the move to Paris FC presents an opportunity for him to regain consistent first-team action.

The transfer is seen as a significant coup for Paris FC, who are aiming for promotion to Ligue 1 and view Simon’s experience and creativity as valuable additions to their squad.

Sources close to the negotiations indicate that personal terms have been agreed upon, with only minor formalities remaining before the deal is officially announced.

Simon’s potential arrival has generated excitement among Paris FC supporters, who believe his proven quality in France’s top division could be instrumental in their push for top-flight football.

The Super Eagles forward has also been a regular for Nigeria’s national team, featuring in multiple Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and World Cup qualifiers. His move to Paris FC could provide him with the platform to maintain his form ahead of future international commitments.
