Nollywood star Empress Njamah has once again proven her heart is as big as her talent as she stepped up to honour her late friend, Junior Pope, by celebrating his son’s latest milestone.
Jason, the first child of the late actor and his wife, Jennifer Odonwodo, recently completed secondary school. To mark the occasion, Empress took to Instagram with a heartfelt message, sharing a clip from the ceremony and presenting him with a brand-new laptop.
I’m beyond proud of you, Jason,” she wrote. “Though your dad isn’t here physically, I know he’s smiling from above. He would have been so proud of this achievement.”
She also gave a special shoutout to Jennifer, calling her a “super mum” who has been working tirelessly day and night to raise her three children. Empress applauded her for staying strong, balancing motherhood, and holding the family together in the face of such loss.

This isn’t the first time Empress has stood by Junior Pope’s widow. Back in April, on the actor’s remembrance day, she organised a makeover and surprised Jennifer with a giant portrait of her late husband.
Following his passing, Empress was vocal about how heartbroken she was. She called out the toxic nature of social media, urging people to be more sensitive and allow his family to grieve in peace.
