The Nollywood star joined thousands of food lovers at Eko Hotel on Friday to cheer Hilda Baci, who is out to set a new record with what could become the biggest pot of Jollof rice ever cooked ,made from 200 bags of rice.
Akindele, alongside Enioluwa, Tomike, Pastor Idowu and Ogun State’s First Lady, Bamidele Abiodun, turned up to encourage the young culinary sensation. Sharing moments from the lively event on Instagram, the actress expressed her excitement at celebrating talent, grit and creativity over a steaming pot of Jollof.
She praised Hilda’s courage to keep chasing dreams and urged Nigerians to continue uplifting creatives who dare to break boundaries.
Hilda Baci first stunned the world in June 2023 when she smashed the marathon cooking record, clocking 93 hours 11 minutes after Guinness World Records adjusted her original 100-hour time. Although an Irish chef later surpassed her feat, Baci’s determination remains undimmed and this latest challenge proves she is still hungry for greatness.
