Media personality, Yeni Kuti, has spoken up about a disrespectful encounter with actress Foluke Daramola-Salako many years ago. This is coming after Daramola-Salako called out Nigerian youths for insulting their elders on social media. Daramola-Salako had previously claimed that the “new habit of young people insulting older ones on social media is a pandemic many people are ignoring.” She went on to warn that if the trend continued, children may start beating up their parents in the next five years.
During an appearance on TVC, Kuti recalled how she and Daramola-Salako had worked together many years ago, and how the actress had disrespected her. She stated that although Daramola-Salako may have forgotten the incident, she herself had not, as she was on the receiving end of the disrespectful behaviour. Kuti then went on to say that people reap what they sow, emphasizing the concept of karma.
