Jose Peseiro, the Super Eagles head coach, has stated that his squad requires strong results in the current 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, or AFCON.
Peseiro stated this when questioned if the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had paid his unpaid pay and money owing to the players.
The Portuguese said at his pre-match news conference before of the Super Eagles’ AFCON encounter against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.
He stated that money is not the team’s concern right now.
According to Peseiro
“Money and bonuses should be the last discussion, we need good results first. We all need money, but money is the last discussion.
“I don’t discuss my salary and bonuses with the media.”
Peseiro’s men travel to Equatorial Guinea after losing their most recent friendly against Guinea.
