Nigeria’s Super Falcons have qualified for the 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which will be held in Morocco next year.

This was achievable after they overcame Cape Verde 2-1 in the second-leg playoff on Tuesday night.

The Super Falcons advance 7-1 on aggregate after winning the first leg 5-0.

Since the tournament’s inception in Nigeria in 1998, the Super Falcons have qualified for every edition.

Meanwhile, Morocco, champions South Africa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tunisia, Ghana, Botswana, and Algeria have all qualified to compete at WAFCON 2024.

Mali, Tanzania, Senegal, and Zambia are among the other countries that have qualified.
