The results of three Super Eagles players’ drug tests at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations are negative.
The team players that were examined were striker Victor Osimhen, forward Ademola Lookman, and captain William Troost-Ekong.
The results of the random tests were announced after Nigeria defeated Cameroon 2-0 in a Round of 16 match.
Lookman scored twice in the match, propelling the Eagles into the quarterfinals, where they will face Angola on Friday.
Osimhen and Troost-Ekong have each scored one goal in the competition thus far.
All players should be eligible for selection against the Palancas Negras.
