Deji Adeyanju, an activist lawyer, attacked the President Bola Tinubu-led administration on Monday for arresting Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President Joe Ajaero and invading the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) office by the Department of State Services (DSS).
According to Adeyanju, the Tinubu-led administration would next arrest former presidential aspirants Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Omoyele Sowore.
In a communication made accessible to journalists, Adeyanju said:
“General Bola Ahmed Tinubu: Arrested 2,400 protesters; arrested NLC President; invaded SERAP office.
“Next will be to arrest Atiku, Obi and SOWORE and say they are planning a coup. Abacha must be proud. Kudos General Bola, more please,” Adeyanju stated
Ajaero was arrested on Monday at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by Department of State Services (DSS) operatives.
Ajaero was pulled up on his way to the United Kingdom to attend the British Trade Union Congress or TUC.
