Nollywood actress Annie Idibia, wife of legendary singer 2baba, has proudly announced a significant milestone achieved by her daughter, Isabella.
At a young age, Isabella has become the youngest teen YouTuber in Nigeria to hit 5000 subscribers, making her the most subscribed-to teenager on the platform in the country.
Annie took to her Instagram story to express her pride in her daughter’s achievement. She shared how Isabella wanted to gain subscribers organically without her mother’s promotional support, showcasing her determination and independence.
In her own words, Annie said:
My sunshine. She told me, ‘Mama, please don’t advertise or promote my YouTube page; I wanna gain my own subscribers by myself. Please, mama, don’t push for subscribers for me.’ Lord, I’m so proud of my sunshine. They say my sunshine is the biggest teen YouTuber in Naija ooo!! That part of biggest I no no yet, but I will look it up! Still on still. I’m soooo proud of my sunshine.”
Annie’s pride in Isabella’s success is palpable. She has been supportive of her daughter’s endeavours while respecting her wish to achieve success independently.
Annie’s youngest daughter, Olivia, is also making waves. Recently, Annie revealed that Olivia is set to produce and cast in her own EP (Extended Play). Annie expressed her excitement and pride in Olivia, describing her as the bravest 10-year-old, overly intelligent, brilliant, and a fast learner.
Isabella has previously made headlines for her academic prowess. Last year, Annie shared her pride over Isabella’s impressive academic grades in the UK. She described Isabella as her good luck charm, highlighting her talents and brilliance. In December 2022, during Isabella’s 14th birthday celebration, Annie bragged about her daughter’s intellectual skills, including having the highest score in mathematics at her new UK high school and winning the best-behaved student award multiple times.
