The Action Peoples Party (APP) has asked the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal for an application to withdraw its case against President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Counsel to the Action Peoples Party (APP), Obed Agu, asked the court to strike out and dismiss the suit challenging Tinubu’s victory at the 25th February presidential election. Counsel to Tinubu, Wole Olanipekun, SAN, did not oppose the withdrawal. The Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Haruna Tsammani, subsequently dismissed the petition.
Remember that the court hearing started on Monday in Abuja.
