The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it has finalised plans to hold re-run elections in four state assembly constituencies in Bauchi State.
Mohammed Nura, the state INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, made the announcement during a chat with journalists in Bauchi on Sunday.
He said:
“The Commission is conducting re-run elections on the 2023 general election, as directed by Election Petition Appeal Tribunals.
“Some 42 PUs across the four constituencies are affected by the court order.
“The elections are scheduled to take place simultaneously in all affected constituencies on Feb. 3.”
