Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, winner of Big Brother Naija’s ‘Level Up,’ has taken legal action against a wig vendor, filing a petition for investigation over allegations of cyberbullying and conspiracy.
This development stems from a previous controversy where the vendor accused Phyna of not returning a rented wig.
Last year, screenshots surfaced online showing Phyna and her team negotiating a lower price with the wig vendor rather than returning the rented wig. Phyna responded to the accusations, labeling the accuser a “clout chaser” and expressing weariness over constant online criticism.
In an Instagram live video, Phyna claimed ignorance of the accuser, suggesting her management team might have handled the transaction without her knowledge. In December, the reality star revealed being invited by the police for questioning regarding the matter.
Now, Phyna has shared a screenshot of the petition on her Instagram page, seeking justice for the alleged cyberbullying and conspiracy. In the petition, she identifies herself as a law-abiding citizen and urges the police to conduct a thorough investigation to bring the culprit to justice.
Captioning the post, Phyna acknowledged the false accusations that led to constant bullying and embarrassment over the rented wig. She expressed her satisfaction that justice is now in motion with the help of the Nigeria Police.
