Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has expressed immense pride in her daughter Toluwanimi Fagbemi’s academic achievement, celebrating her impressive CGPA of 2.99.
The proud mother took to Instagram to share the good news, thanking God for her daughter’s progress while appreciating everyone who supported them along the way. However, her post sparked mixed reactions, with one fan criticizing her for “bragging,” to which Biola responded calmly.
In the post, Biola shared a screenshot of Toluwanimi’s exam results, revealing her CGPA of 2.99 after her second-semester exams. The actress expressed gratitude for the support she and her daughter had received from well-wishers, as well as for her daughter’s dedication.
Her caption read:
“My baby’s CGPA is now 2.99 after her 2nd-semester exams. Thank you, Jesus!

While most of the comments were positive, one follower questioned Biola’s decision to share such personal details, suggesting that it came across as “bragging.” The fan wrote:

In response, Biola Bayo calmly addressed the criticism, advising the follower to walk away gently if they didn’t understand her reasons for sharing the post. She wrote:
“It’s okay if you don’t know the story and you don’t feel the need to swipe. Kindly walk away gently, thank you.”
This proud moment is especially significant for Biola Bayo, who has been open about her struggles with education due to financial challenges. Despite being a secondary school dropout, Biola’s love for learning has never waned, and she has made education a priority for both herself and her family. In December 2022, Biola was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Leadership and Business from Georgia University, an achievement that she proudly shared on her Instagram.
