The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has failed to present former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor Godwin Emefiele in court on Monday.
This was in contravention of a Thursday ruling by the Federal Capital Territory High Court, which directed the commission to either free him or bring him in court for the hearing of a bail request.
The former CBN governor was not present in court on Monday.
