Qatar has reversed its decision not to host President Bola Tinubu’s proposed business and investment roundtable during his March 2, 2024, visit to the Arab Kingdom.
This comes after a leaked document on Saturday revealed that Qatar refused the proposed investment event, citing the absence of the country’s minister of trade and industry, Mohammed Bin Hamad Al-Thani.
Also, the Qatari embassy in Abuja stated that the Arabian country and Nigeria had reached no agreement on the investment forum.
However, Qatar has reversed its decision, stating that the business forum would now be held as planned by Nigeria.
