President Muhammad Buhari described a shocking incident in which several people were killed by suspected terrorists in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Buhari called for the speedy arrest and punishment of the culprits said in a statement released to the media by one of his media aides, Garba Shehu on Thursday.

It was reported how police in Kaduna state on Saturday night confirmed a case of a new attack on the Zangon Kataf government area.

Dozens of people died in the attack, but police said they had not yet determined the exact number of people killed.

The president offered his condolences to the families of the victims and said national security agencies must put an end to the attacks in the state.

“There is a concerted attack on innocent citizens in the state and the security and law enforcement agencies must take serious action to put an end to this,” said the President.

“My deepest condolences to the families of those killed in these horrific attacks. May their souls rest in peace,” the president said.
