President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to lead All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains to Lagos for today’s grand finale of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential campaign.
The state government issued a travel advisory to ease traffic on the route leading to the stadium in Surulere from the local wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja.
Today’s rally will draw the curtain on a nationwide campaign that took the APC standard bearer to the capitals of all the states.
The president returned to Abuja yesterday after participating in the 36th Summit of the African Union (AU) in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
Buhari, who left the country last Thursday, participated in a couple of events during the three-day trip, including high-level meetings on peace and security, climate change and the political situation in some West African countries.
