Madonna’s Recent Plastic Surgery Raises Concern.

64-year-old Singer, Madonna has opened up about undergoing plastic surgery two weeks after her appearance at the 2023 Grammys where some fans could barely identify her.

She had posted a photo of herself in ripped jeans and a hat with the inscription, ‘Spiritually Hungry‘ alongside the caption:

‘Look how cute I am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol.

Earlier this month the singer had been verbally attacked by fans after she showed off her smooth visage, sculpted cheeks, and plump pout while performing at the Grammys.

A fan had commented

‘Madonna looking “refreshed” lol..’ 

 

However, another stated:

So, I am just now watching the #GRAMMYs. Madonna doesn’t quite look like @Madonna to me.’

Also, one more fan had also penned

Madonna needs to stop with the plastic surgery and embrace the aging process. She’s nearly unrecognizable at this point.’

Following the verbal attacks received from some fans, Madonna made a lengthy Instagram post addressing  ‘ageism and misogyny.’

The singer had claimed the ‘closeup’ from a ‘long lens camera’ was responsible for distorting her look and making it appear rounder and puffier than it actually was. 

She stated further:

Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in.’

The singer however went ahead to reveal that she felt honoured to introduce Kim Petras and Sam Smith, the former being the first openly trans person to win a Grammy and the latter, the first openly non-binary artist to win in the Best  Pop Duo/Group Collaboration category. This she believed to be more important and befitting for her trailblazing status.

Nevertheless, Madonna felt so downcast because rather than pay attention to her words, her look was the subject of discussion among fans as she stated:

Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim- Many people chose to only talk about Close-up photos of me Taken with a long lens camera By a press photographer that Would distort anyone’s face!!’ she said.
