Job Summary:

Plaude Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Executive – Trade Finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking or financial services with a specific focus on financing or debt mobilization. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding Plaude’s market share in financing or debt products by building and managing strategic relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive growth for Plaude’s financing and debt products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional partners to mobilize financing and debts.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financing and debt targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform financing and debt product offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to enhance existing financing and debt products and create new offerings that meet market demands.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to close deals and ensure favorable terms for Plaude.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities, including financing and debt growth, client engagement, and market feedback.
  • Work closely with the finance and treasury teams to ensure the alignment of financing and debt strategies with liquidity management goals.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to financing and debt mobilization and client relationships.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote Plaude’s products and services.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on financing and debt.
  • Strong understanding of financing and debt products, interest rates, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding deposit targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CTP, or similar.
  • Experience in the fintech sector or with digital banking platforms.
