Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Caroline Hutchins Danjuma has addressed criticisms about her conduct on the reality TV show Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOL). In a bold Instagram post, the actress reaffirmed her commitment to authenticity, regardless of public opinion.
Caroline Hutchins took to Instagram to confront fans disappointed by her perceived change in demeanor on RHOL compared to season one. In her unapologetic post, she encouraged those dissatisfied to “burn the bridge,” stating:
“This is a reality TV show, NOT a beauty pageant or a convent/seminary. Here, we bring in the past, present, and future the way it is. I KEEP IT REAL. Energy for energy, vibes for vibes, demon for demon, Angel for Angel. You can choke on your negative feelings.”
Caroline emphasized that she refuses to fake anything for the camera or play the victim, adding that she’s done being overly nice to undeserving individuals.
A few days earlier, the actress had sent a message to an unidentified individual, asserting:
“I don’t just set the standard; I am the standard.”
She made it clear that she prioritizes truth and transparency over false narratives, as she hinted at having “receipts” to back her claims.
Caroline has also been vocal about empowering women, particularly in relationships. During the ongoing custody battle between Davido and Sophia Momodu, she advised women to develop themselves financially, spiritually, and mentally, emphasizing the importance of independence.
Additionally, Caroline has been unreserved in expressing her support for President Tinubu, despite backlash. She pointed out that she has lost friends for defending people online and reaffirmed that she does not seek social media validation.
