Comedian Julius Agwu has shed light on the ongoing feud between his colleagues AY Makun and Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth. While AY Makun had previously claimed that their falling out was due to a dispute over N30,000, Julius Agwu believes that there might be more to the story.
In an interview with Naija Info FM, Julius Agwu suggested that there could be deeper issues at play, saying-
“I don’t think it’s just the N30,000. Maybe there is more. Na we dey backstage. We nor go fit know. Maybe there is something else that is making them angry and they have both carried in their minds that is causing them to quarrel.”
He also shared his own experience with AY Makun, claiming that AY cut off communication with him when he found out that Julius was planning a show on the same day as AY’s annual Easter Sunday comedy show, Laugh for Christ’s Sake.
The root cause of the feud between AY and Basketmouth remains unclear, but Agwu’s comments have sparked speculation that there could be more to the story than previously thought.
