Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Communications Associate experienced in digital media and digital marketing to join us. The role involves developing and implementing engaging strategies across various digital platforms to showcase our distinctive Afrocentric luxury fashion offerings. Your main focus will be to increase brand awareness, drive audience engagement, and promote our products and brand values effectively on social media and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media campaigns and strategies across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
  • Stay updated on emerging social media platforms, competitor strategies, industry trends, cultural events, and conversations relevant to Afrocentric fashion to continuously improve your digital media content strategies.
  • Responsibly manage and maintain the company’s social media accounts and e-commerce store to ensure effective visibility and optimize conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the team to create engaging and shareable content for social media platforms, including text, images, and videos, while maintaining consistent branding, tone, and voice across channels.
  • Engage and interact with the brand’s online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and engagingly.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize digital media content for improved search engine visibility and organic reach.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers, bloggers, and industry figures to enhance brand visibility in social media campaigns.
  • Adhere to social media policies, and guidelines, and effectively manage the budget for paid promotions and advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor social media analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in digital marketing and social media management, preferably in the fashion industry.
  • Excellent understanding of various social media platforms, including content creation and community engagement best practices.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills that are demonstrated by creating engaging content using photo and video editing tools.
  • Ability to develop creative and culturally relevant social media campaigns that align with the brand’s vision and resonate with the target audience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing social media management tools and analytics platforms for performance monitoring and strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated expertise in influencer marketing and established collaborations with industry figures and influencers.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills with a customer-centric focus, adaptable to different platforms and brand tones.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of effectively managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
