The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has warned its members working as ad hoc staff at the elections to avoid financial incentives from politicians.
Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig. Gen. Yushau Dogara Ahmed said this at the unveiling of a distress call centre (DCC) for personnel working as ad hoc staff. He promises corp members adequate security during the elections.
According to him, the emergency number is 6972, he added that the centre was designed to improve the safety and security of its personnel.
Ahmed said that as soon as the centre receives a call from an agent, it will get the caller’s problem and location and alert the security guards.
