Nigerian businessman and philanthropist Cosmas Maduka has emphasised the importance of early financial planning, stating that every young man should aim to own a house by the age of 30.

Speaking on a podcast, the founder of Coscharis Group shared insights from his journey, revealing that he earned his first $2 million at the age of 24.

Maduka highlighted that a significant majority of successful individuals worldwide—approximately 86 percent—achieved their success between the ages of 12 and 28.

He suggested missing this critical window could mean missing out on significant opportunities.

“Any young man that knows what to do by 30 years shouldn’t just be talking about living in three-bedroom apartments. He should own his house,” Maduka stated.

He acknowledged that while this goal may seem ambitious, it is attainable, citing examples of young people who have built homes by the age of 30.

Maduka’s remarks have sparked discussions on social media, with some praising his emphasis on early financial responsibility, while others argue that economic challenges make such goals difficult for many. Nonetheless, his message underscores the value of setting clear financial objectives and working diligently to achieve them from a young age.
