Despite his prior success, Davido revealed that he had to start anew as many perceived him as a new artist upon joining Sony Music, despite having sold out shows with capacities of up to 60,000 in Africa.
Davido shared insights into his electrifying performances, recounting instances where he caused fans to faint not only in Africa but also worldwide. Addressing his relationship with his wife Chioma, Davido emphasized that they met during his earlier struggles as an artist, before attaining his current level of success.
However, Davido faced criticism from some netizens who doubted his claims of experiencing financial hardship. Additionally, music producer Samklef recently advised Davido to refrain from involvement in the arrest case of VeryDarkMan, cautioning that it could tarnish his public image.
