Emmanuel Dennis Decides to Remain in Europe

The Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis is eager to stay in Europe, according to the UK tabloid The Athletic, despite rumours that he would be moving to Saudi Arabia.

Dennis’ departure from Nottingham Forest this summer is quite likely, and his representatives have begun conducting preliminary consultations with possible suitors.

The Nigerian international is believed to be okay with the possibility of leaving if the ideal chance arises, but he wants to stay in Europe.

Dennis joined Forest last summer on a four-year deal after leaving Watford for an estimated £15 million. If he were to move on once more, the Championship team would earn a sell-on percentage.

Dennis was one of 22 players signed by the club after they were promoted to the Premier League in 2021–2022, although he didn’t have much of an effect, scoring only twice in 19 Premier League games.

Both goals were scored at the City Ground during contests against Aston Villa and Newcastle United.

According to reports, Dennis wants to stay in Europe and isn’t considering joining the Saudi Pro League.

Although they have not yet received a formal offer for the striker, Forest is reputed to be amenable to talks about a transfer.
