Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress, DJ Cuppy, is proudly celebrating her country as Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary today.
Taking to her Instagram page, the daughter of Femi Otedola shared a video of herself, expressing deep love and pride for her country. She revealed that in her next life, she would still choose to be Nigerian.
According to her, Nigeria is her birthplace, her home, and her country. Despite the challenges, she noted that Nigerians continue to push, persevere, and find joy even in the toughest times.
She further praised the resilience and spirit of Nigerians, stating:
“My birthplace. My home. My country. Today, Nigeria turns 65.
Through it all, our people keep persevering and finding joy even in the toughest times…
God didn’t rush when He made us!!! He gave us resilience and spirit.
In my next life, would STILL choose to be Nigerian.”
This isn’t the first time the entertainer has spoken passionately about her country. During Nigeria’s 64th Independence celebration last year, Cuppy described being Nigerian as her superpower, admitting that although the nation faces difficult times, it remains a symbol of hope. She stressed that no matter where she goes, she will always carry a piece of Nigeria with her.
