Nigerian music mogul and Mavins Records founder, Don Jazzy, is once again making headlines for his generous heart. The music executive recently blessed a female fan with a whopping N6 million after she tagged him in a post on Twitter (now X), asking for financial assistance.
The woman, who claimed to have always dreamed about Don Jazzy, boldly tagged him in her post saying, “Make I tag @donjazzy. I dey always dream about him.” Her lighthearted request quickly turned into a life-changing moment.
In response, Don Jazzy, known for his philanthropy, asked the fan to send her account balance. After receiving the details, he blessed her with N1 million. The woman, overwhelmed by his generosity, shared a screenshot of the credit alert on Twitter, thanking him profusely for his kindness.
Jesus, this is huge. Thank you so much for your incredible generosity @DONJAZZY. Receiving 1 million naira is beyond anything I expected, and I’m truly grateful. Your support means the world to me. God bless you abundantly, sir,” she wrote.
But Don Jazzy didn’t stop there. Noticing that her account balance wasn’t exactly “healthy,” he added an additional N5 million to her account, bringing the total amount to a staggering N6 million. Responding to his fan, he wrote: “Amen ooo. That your Akant balance is not healthy. I don add another 5 million. More blessings ma.”
The fan, still in disbelief, expressed her gratitude once again:
Oluwa oo, I am deeply grateful for this extraordinary blessing. May the Almighty, who used you to lift me up, reward you beyond measure. May your hands never lack, your heart always be at peace, and your generations forever enjoy divine favour. Thank you, @DONJAZZY. May God continue to enlarge your coast.”
This generous act is just one of many that have earned Don Jazzy a reputation for his philanthropy. Last month, the Mavins CEO also surprised a Nigerian man with $3000 (about N4.8 million) after donating to his charity organization. Don Jazzy’s gesture left the recipient speechless, as he expressed his gratitude for the life-changing support.
In 2023, Don Jazzy also made a difference in the life of a university student who had been struggling with the pressures of school. After hearing his story, Don Jazzy blessed him with a significant amount of money, offering much-needed relief.
Additionally, the Mavins boss has gifted over N2 million to his Twitter followers, sent a million naira to a homeless man in need, and helped a fan, Olajuwonlo, pay for school fees with a generous donation of N800,000. He even blessed another fan with a new camera to support his photography career.
