The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki on Wednesday dissolved the State Executive Council with immediate effect. The governor thanked the members of the council for their service to the government and the people of the state, according to a statement by the office of the Special Adviser (Media Projects), Caruso Osagie.
According to the statement-
“The dissolution of the Council takes immediate effect. The State’s cabinet was dissolved during the Weekly Executive Council meeting on Wednesday”.
“The Governor also said that beginning from today, all Special Assistants (SAs) and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) have been relieved of their appointments”, the statement added.
